Hello All

Does anyone know any professionals who can offer services for preparation of a business plan for a small start up venture?

The purpose for making this plan would be to approach financial institutions for finance/loans.

Any pointers would be highly appreciated.

What type of startup is it? I have experience in creating business plans for IT startups.

Before paying anyone - there are a ton of Swiss governmental institutions in place that are supposed to help start ups. From the Gemeinde over Kanton to federal level.

Which one should you go to? That probably depends on the business you are in. If it is something local would the Gemeinde be the place to start - even if it is a small village will they at least have suggestions who to talk to. If I am not completely mistaken was it called something like "Wirtschaftsfoerderung" - business development department - in my area before, but names might vary in different Kantons.

If it is on the other hand something very specific, say high tech, do you probably better go to some industry lobby groups and ask them.

Besides reviewing your business are there a lot of programs to support start ups in many ways, some even financially. Definitely something worth researching.
