how can i find more information about the manager and, especially, the company's situation?
is there any official source of info?
is there any company providing professional help on this?


i've found www.worldbox.ch, but it costs some money and the info about their products are only in german.

Edited the title, as they're called AG on the German speaking side of Le Barriere de Roesti.

The official source of information is a cantonal authority that can be found here. You possibly will find an index of companies somewhere. If not, there's a company named Moneyhouse that mirrors all registry entries, they also sell solvency information. Also maybe a debt collection company can help you, Swiss market leader is the well-known (some would say: notorious) Intrum Justitia.

I have suspicion about company presenting itself. They gave me their tax number in ch but I do not know how and where to check company by tax number. I searched for company at http://www.zefix.admin.ch/ with no success, company cannot be found there by name. Now I am even more suspicious. So where and how can I check if their company is associated with tax number they gave me?

What's the name of the company, what does it do and is it based in Cahm/Zug. I might be able to help you here

Check the Canton's Handelsregisteramt. Google it with the Canton name.

When you find the right website, search for the company name. It may be handy to add the location if you know that.

Otherwise, check out Intrum Justictia - They may help you (for a small charge).

Also, check for a website... ask for references...
