If you actually do make profit (i.e. you earn more than you spend), you have to register with AHV (AVS), and you have to declare your net income in your tax declaration.
You only need to register with the commercial register (Handelsregister) and you only need to register for VAT (Mehrwertsteuer/MwSt) if you earn more than CHF 100'000.- per year (turnover/Umsatz, that is).
As you're an Indian national you need to check if you can even be self-employed first. While you may have an L or B permit for your banking job, it may not allow you to work as a self-employed person too. Check with the canton's migration office.
