Hello Everyone,

Thanks for stopping by at my story. My name is Sam and I moved to Switzerland for Studies about 6 months ago. I am from Africa. I am not on scholarship nor either working and studying. I actually came here with funds saved up from my online works.

I have been a freelancer since 2008 with alot of ideas and skills online. Social Media, Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Website Design, Adsense Niche etc. However, I started nursing the ambition to further study and acquire more knowledge in my field of study from a more developed country with outstanding education system since 2014. Then I started making provisions for the funds required. I was able to achieve 36,000CHF in 2 years. Thats alot in my country But who cares to invest it into his future through education? I alone ! Working online on a popular micro service website called fiverr, I started doing $2000-$3000/month and it was going fine. Until I moved here to Switzerland for my Masters Degree program though Tuition is cheap but life here isn't smiling financially.

But thats not the issue. The problem is that on getting here, I am stock doing $1000-$1200/month while I am still coping with studies...most time I am free 2-6 weeks from Studies but still, scaling up looks a bit difficult. So, in my quest to further strengthen my finance, I approach some companies who have no job for me....Why? Because I have no relating certificate?

I have come to learn in Switzerland that your experiences/skills only matters after you have a certificate to show! But what happens to skills acquired by actually trying and failing then been a master of the trade? Any chance someone out there will see the potential in such a person? I am not sure but it doesn't hurt to ask...does it?

So, what do I need from the members of this forum? Advice!

> How do I convince businesses out there I have got the skill without relating certificates?
> Should I sell off my constant $1000/month business to someone interested with ideas to scale up?
> Should I offer scaling up my finance by offering to teach interested individuals how they can replicate my methods?

> Or how is it done in this country....am I missing something?

Beside, wouldn't it be unfair to bring so much to this country and the country when leaving only gives me a Certificate

Anyone want to help....all kinda advice is welcome!

Sorry to add, it took me 30days exactly to summon the courage to ask...so, I am prepared for any form of comments..

Hello Everyone,

I have come to learn in Switzerland that your experiences/skills only matters after you have a certificate to show!

I'm going to guess that for many foreigners any hiring company needs to show that they can't find a native person to do the same job. That means they need to convince the government that you're the man for the job and I'm not sure a few years of experience and a bank statement is going to cut it, unless there are a whole more zeros at the end of the number.

I'm not sure of the regulations/implications of you already working here in Switzerland if you're on some kind of student visa.

Well sure, with a student visa, I kinda have just limited numbers of maybe inhouse work hours.

However, I am not working in Switzerland at the moment...my post mentioning making $1000 isn't 1000CHF per month and its not done physically....its Online..unless I am missing something here!

Same thing.

You live in Switzerland, you have to declare this income and work.

The real answer to your Q is, if you don't have the personal time required, to franchise your business model.

Offer to teach others to do what you do (in return for an upfront fee) and then a license fee (percentage) going forward.

You can "sell" the opportunity online to people in any country, so the scalability should be plenty.

Then select your best franchisees, and teach them how to teach others your methods.

It will take a bit more work to get it rolling, but once going should bring you relatively passive income.

2 things. Don't be greedy on the commissions you demand. And offer a guarantee so people know it will work or they don't pay.

Regards

Ian
