I've recently set out as a freelance corporate writer and wondered if anyone had any tips on how to find and approach new clients?

I plan to attend lots of networking events, networks found in the Lake Geneva region so far include: GWIT, Executives International and e2e Contact. But wondered if anyone had any other tried and tested methods of getting their name out there.
