soletrader pilot working outside CH but living in CH?

My first post on here so I'll start by saying happy new year. I have done a lot of searches looking up stuff. so I think I have the answers I need. but just thought I'd post as well.

I have a job starting soon where I can live anywhere in Europe but I will choose Switzerland as my Girlfriend is Swiss. It seems best for me to be Sole trader for tax reasons and may follow up in a years time with a GMBH

I will be working outside EU and paid from outside EU into Switzerland. I will also be able to do a bit of freelance on the side in my time off which will help with 3 clients needed to be sole trader if required in my example.

In my reading on this forum it seems some people in the same situation have only one source of income from outside CH and the powers to be are happy with that, but may vary from canton? Anyone in this situation that can give me the heads up on how they went about it. It does seem very simple from searches on here, but is there someone out there in the same situation as aircrew working outside of CH and also if there are any tax benefits they can share with me EG I will be 3 weeks on duty 3 weeks off duty so therefore only approximately half my time in Switzerland, will that give me any tax breaks?

On the Social payment side it looks like just AHV? what % would that be. I do need to read more about that bit!

many thanks in advance

Residents in Switzerland must pay Swiss taxes on global income and global assets. It is immaterial where you work and how often you work.

Thanks for your response but I was curious of any of the smaller details. For example in Spain my example means I would not be taxed on the first 50k euros !

Maybe residency in Spain is better than Switzerland. Maybe Monaco? Dubai?
