I'm not sure if it's what your meaning but I am into paper crafts, i.e. scrapbooking and card making.

I got into it in a big way when we lived in the US and haven't had much time for it recently but I'm hoping I'll have more free time once we move to Zurich. So if that counts I'd definitely be interested.

Also very keen to get into jewellery making so any hints tips etc on getting started are welcome

My last accountant in the UK was pretty "creative"... does that count?

For the 15 years before I moved here I worked on the production side of creative display projects in London - producing displays for art galleries, marketing, advertising and more boring general commercial display and signage.

I still do a little in London and here so may be interested in getting involved. My old home page needs a lot of updating and tidying up but gives an idea of what I got up to.

I am a creative director, previously based in Brussels and before that in that there London village. I have done art direction, brand building, print, corporate identity, all kinds of stuff. It would be good to meet other creatives. Count me in.

I trained as a metalsmith in the US system (BFA and MFA degrees), then went to law school and was an entertainment lawyer for over a half decade until I moved to Basel in 2009.

I probably don't really count, as I'm only physically in CH occasionally (e.g., twice last year), but for those times (and for future reference?)...

WOW... I was planning to do something similar...
I wanted to call it HONOMO project. Seriously. I heard a friend moaning about her work and how she felt she was just a corporte HO! She wished she could paint or do something arty as it would give her more satisfaction. So I thought well be a Ho no more and go for it....
The idea of the name came from there... HO' no MO'

There's definitely a need for it. I see this as an open process, so perhaps we can collaborate on the event. I have a couple of interesting venues in mind. Im an amateur photographer and a professional makeup artist. I took Film Production at Niagara College and worked on a couple independent low budget projects, mostly in production design or camera operating....once or twice in lighting. I used to do a lot of painting and sewing but I'm a little busy these days. That said I still have the sewing machine and some empty canvases kicking around. I also took crash courses in woodworking and welding when I was a teenager. I like to make stuff :-)
