Dear Americans living in Switzerland, I am happily writing to invite you to the first AMERICAN evening at the Party series Worldwide @ Bar / Club Hiltl Zurich. This is the time where we can feel like back home (or back on holiday), you will speak your native tongue and meet new people to enlarge your social network in Switzerland while we slowly get ready for X-mas gifts and our trips back home. We shall open our doors at 10pm and start into the evening with beautiful vocals by Californian singer & songwriter Veronique Spiteri. She has been singing in various highly acknowledged musicals and for us she will perform accompanied by the piano. Followed by Dj Prisselly you can dance to some grooving US R&B, House, Funk, Hip-Hop and Partytunes selected by DJ Prisselly feat. New York / Swiss MC S-Rock. The entrance is free from 10pm until 11pm (after that it's only CHF 15.-) so make sure to come early. There is original AMERICAN BUDWISER & free vegetarian Finger food! I am looking forward to welcoming you all very soon and having a relaxing, fun evening with all of my fellow Americans! Ps. :-) Lol, I believe it's because the Hiltl restaurant is a vegetarian place. However, BBQ would have been nice.. I'll suggest it to the organizer..

Sounds good to me anyway and will probably make a quick appearance
The budwiser is just a gimick and a bit of a fun... even though the vegetarian thing is not really my thing, as non meat eating girls are not exactly what I'd call a perfect catch  but hey maybe they like sushi |

The main thing I have to say was the variety of vegetarian food, and I have to say I am converted (said as I munch on a real chicken burger), There was so much variety of vegetables, cheese, olives, Quorn (chicken substitute) Nuggets, nice tasting samosas and more, there is so much tasty food I have to go there again!
The rest is what you make of it...

It was an American theme, which means two American flags hanging on the door and behind the DJ Box as well as some American Hip-hop and R&B (more of the former). I didn't get to sample the Budwiser but I believe they were offering one for free for entrants after 10pm.
There should be another one next week (if I heard correctly) I believe with another country's theme.
