Pirates; Treasure; A Love Story and a Dame all come together for yet another rollicking tale from the Basel English Panto Group.
Jim and his Mum ( The Dame) run a pub called the Admiral Benbow. As usual the Dame is short of money and is always complaining about the Squire who is her Landlord. Why – because he keeps putting the rent up. He also has a beautiful daughter (Charlotte) who is in love with Jim, much against her Father’s wishes. Enter the pirates with Long John Silver who is looking for a map which shows the way to the treasure on Treasure Island. They all set sail to look for the treasure and join up with Ben Gunn and Mrs.Silver who surprises Long John with a set of twins! ( He only went out to buy some milk 12 years earlier).
As we said, a good rollicking tale with lots of songs, fun, jokes for young and old. Come along and join us and also join in.

Hi,

tickets have now been on sale for a couple of weeks and are selling well, especially for the matinees.

It is great fun for kids, from 6 upwards, and adults.

This will be the 15th Pantomime that we have staged in Basel and the money we make is ploughed back into the verein for next year's production and the surplus is given to charity.

I have seen the rehearsals and they are going very well. See if you can spot members of forum when they appear on stage. The tickets are selling well and so if you want to come and have a laugh and forget the woes of the world then why not buy a ticket for the show.

It is suitable for kids over the age 6 and of course for adults as well.

well ticket sales are going really well ...over 1400 people have already bought tickets. Which is not bad for a show that is in English.

So if you want to be entertained at Christmas why not come along and join in the fun. It is suitable for kids of all ages ...6-99.

well the final 4 performances this weekend. On Thursday and Friday around 600 people have seen the show and left with a smile on their face.
