Culinary Tryst with India

It's my pleasure to organize and invite you to a fun & aroma-filled Indian cooking afternoon, where we shall cook 6 dishes that are simple to make and great to serve. I learnt these from my mother, who taught Indian cooking for 30 years in Mumbai.

We will end our afternoon with an Indian apero, and dinner with wine, and then enjoy a game called 'The Great Indian Arranged Marriage'!

The fee for this event is CHF 50, payable in advance to avoid no-shows, as I need to prepare for the numbers joining us.
Your contribution would also be towards supporting an animal sanctuary in Costa Rica (www.rainsongsanctuary.com).

I look forward to your RSVP and to be your host this afternoon.

When is it? I don't see any date/time apart from "this afternoon". It's now?

Re: Culinary Tryst with India

You should add a date to your post

Maybe you could also use the Add New Event option in here:

http://www.englishforum.ch/calendar.php?c=2

You can add new event here:

http://www.englishforum.ch/calendar....#goto_newevent

It's quite wonderful to manage who is coming or not

Re: Culinary Tryst with India

Dear all,
Thank you very much for pointing out what I missed out on adding to the event!
It will be held on Saturday 14th January starting at 16:00, as for now I am just planning tonight's 'not as special' dinner!

The event will be in Zurich, and the exact location will be shared once I have most of the RSVPs. I live by the lake in Rüschlikon, and so can host it at home, or also in a professional kitchen if the number of RSVPs call for that.

I have now also posted it on the Event Calender: http://www.englishforum.ch/commercia...yst-india.html

I feel happy by your positive responses so far, and do hope that you can make it. It would be a pleasure to be able to support the good cause as well through our time together.

Re: Culinary Tryst with India

Thanks Wabia and I hope you dont mind the leg pulling. If this was in Basel I would be up for it, driven my my urge to do good for the charity and by my greedy guts!

Good luck

F
