There's a good reason for this. Your advertising is infringing on a protected trademark, and is genuinely causing confusion among the public about whether you are serving the real product or your own interpretation:
KFC NIGHT (finger lickin' good)
You've used their name, their logo, and their trademarked menu items -- in fact, it's textbook trademark violation, and the trademark rules exist for exactly this reason.
I'm not just here to be a naysayer -- when I first saw your advertisement in November, I assumed that you would be serving genuine KFC items. Had Castro not asked his clarifying question and I'd turned up to be served MFC instead of KFC, I'd feel like I was misled and I'd be more than a little disappointed.
My suggestion is this: make some kick-ass fried chicken and get a reputation for making kick-ass fried chicken. Then people will seek out MFC instead of KFC, and not feel like they've gotten the bait-and-switch treatment.
Or are you just one of those people who think the
rules don't apply to them?
