City/Town: Zürich
Event Type: Concert/Show
Location: St. Peter's Church, St. Peter-Hofstatt

Gheorghe Zamfir and Christiane Gugger will perform in St. Peter’s Church, St. Peter-Hofstatt, Zürich on Friday 8th March. Doors open at 19:00 for a 20:00 start. Tickets are CHF60 for adults, CHF40 for AHV and students, CHF35 for children on www.ticketcorner.ch or at the door if there are places available. Part of any profits will go to charities in Romania, where he was born.
You might not recognise the name, but have probably heard the unique sound of his pan pipes. For example, you might know the Kill Bill theme tune, the lonely shepherd. We often listen at home and are looking forward to hearing them in the church, which more often reverberates to organ pipes.
We will also organise a place for dinner and drinks afterwards, and somewhere for people to meet before, if enough people want to start early (please let me know if you are interested). There is no food and drink in the church.
