| St. Patrick's Day Weekend for Ex-Pats!!! + Question regarding an Irish Band
Hey, Whoever may be interested in coming to Lucerne to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style, we are planning the biggest St. Patrick’s Day Weekend in Switzerland in 2006. Here is the tentative schedule: Thursday March 16 at 23:59: Official Start of St. Patrick’s Day in Roadhouse, Lucerne (right next to the Bahnhof) featuring the Punter’s, all the way from St. John’s, Newfoundland, the Irish capital of Canada. See www.thepunters.com. Also Lindsay Ferguson www.lindsayferguson.com. Friday March 17 starting at 22:00 until 4:00 at ABC Lucerne Monster St. Patrick’s Day Party again featuring the Punter’s, www.thepunters.com and Lindsay Ferguson www.lindsayferguson.com, Irish/Britpop DJ! Plus Prizes, Irish Dancers, green beer and more. Sunday March 19 at 20:00 St. Patrick’s Jam Session at Roadhouse! QUESTION: we are still looking for gigs for the band for Saturday March 18, and the full week afterwards in order to pay for all the costs of getting the band from Canada to Switzerland. Can anyone help us with contact names of venues that may be interested in having them play? Maybe even for a company function or a private party. They are recording artists with 15 years experience under their belts and have just released their 6th album. The Punter’s are very versatile and their repertoire ranges from Irish to Country to Rock, from covers to their own songs. Whatever you want, they’ll play it. I am more than grateful for any help!
