Hi, people. Hope to see some of you there.

The lake park nearby is truly lovely.

I'd suggest combining a visit to the Dorfmarkt with a picnic in the beautiful Villette Park (there's also a tea place at an old mansion with a great view of the lake and a mini golf thingy hidden away near the tracks).

It's going to be sunny/cloudy/warm this Saturday, says the weatherman.

Lunch-time bump.

Family day fun! There's a nice playground nearby, too.

Wish we could make it but I'm driving to the UK this weekend, keep us posted on the next one, may even combine that long overdue food evening at the same time!

Let me know if you see any interesting cheese

Up till now I've never had a reason to go to Cham, it's just up the road a ways from me so...
How's the parking situation near the market..? (like everywhere else in CH?)

You can park either in front of the big church (sorry I can't remember its name) which is just a minute's walk away or in the Neudorf Einkaufzentrum, which is two minutes' walk from and it's having its 25th anniversary sale, by the way. (Good deals at the Elegance chocolate shop, etc. Even the Novotex laundry shop is giving 25 percent off their services.)

Mr Argus too is hoping for leftovers. I said, "Don't jinx our sales."

Yes, I know you're not, sweets.
It's totally different when the supposedly supportive other half says, "If they don't sell, we'll hafta eat it all up!"

Oh, ja. Tiny Cham is the centre of all things exciting and lovely. Ha ha.
Today the Neudorf shopping centre is a hub of activity and frenzied shoppers because of the anniversary sales. Imagine 10 percent off practically ALL Migros and Denner stuff not already on 'Aktion'.

Go get your beer, guys. But only in Cham's Neudorf Einkaufzentrum.

Zugerland (Migros) had the same "10% off" today, at 9.30 this morning it looked like the day before Christmas rush..!!

Yeah, it looked like Migros had some sort of celebration all over Zug or CH, not just the 25th anniversary bash at Neudorf Einkaufzentrum.

By the way, this morning Nussbaumer was holding its 'longest Mandel Gipfel' world-record-breaking thing at the Dorfmarkt in Cham and gave slices away free, so our cakes and cookies didn't sell so well.
