City/Town: Zug
Event Type: Exhibition
Location: Burgbach-Saal, St.Oswalds-Gasse 3, Zug

The first Swiss Wulle Festival will take place on Oct 3rd and 4th, at the Burgbachsaal in Zug!

Apart from looking forward to all those exciting vendors at the Burgbach, there will be many attractions on the marketplace just in front of the Festival!

This is a great opportunity to support the Handmade market.

There will be lots of incredible vendors displaying their handmade wares from hand-spun/hand-dyed yarns, bags, bowls, jewelry etc.

The two day market is also filled with amazing courses which will be available in German, English and French.

Over the next three weeks there will be ongoing Giveaways on the Blog: Marigolds' Loft where you can win an array of amazing prizes, from a course entrance, bags, and hand-spun/hand-dyed yarn etc.

Tell your friends - the more the merrier!
Thank you for helping to make this amazing event and annual event!

Warm regards
Natalie

Re: Swiss Wulle Festival

Yup, they put it in the big bin with scissors, nail files, knives and other dangerous stuff. My awesome needles are camping out somewhere in trash, missing me

I did get a fab new birch ones in SF for 7 bucks, but still. I really like using old stuff generations of crafty ladies used. Art! Airport guys have no idea.

Re: Swiss Wulle Festival

I have a green plastic crochet hook that was my grandmother's. It's probably 60 years old or so. I like my wood ones better, but it's nice to look at. History.

Re: Swiss Wulle Festival

You know, mom anytime she visits she picks up a crochet or needles of mine, yarn, I like having her use my stash since it feels fair. I had been using hers since I was small, now it is her time. So she is using all these old hooks I got from this giant batch off ebay, some daughter sold her mom's needlecraft boxes after her mom deceased. It was peanuts, and I like it gets passed on generations. In reverse, too. (just wish the airport security guys understood this, my needles were from the same person)

The festival is amazing. It is still open today. We trucked ourselves all the way there, but were really happy. The workshops are great, everything is really well organized. The instruments to buy really high quality. A good pre-xmas market. We got excited about spinning and felting, so got equipped with some cheap, simple things, raw wool. It is for everybody, guys were there, too. My kid made huge soap bubbles, played with sheep and local kids, and knitted. It is art. It is good to make time for it.
