Hi Southern Hemisphere friends, guys/gals and rugby fans alike!!
Just to let people know that we'll be opening Paddy's in ZH for the first TRI-NATIONS game on Saturday 5th July.
Doors open : 09.20
The game is between the Kiwis and the Springboks, and starts at 09.30. It's followed directly by the 2nd test between Australia and France at 11.30.
Bearing in mind we are opening up 3.5 hours earlier than normal for a Saturday, we are using the 1st game as a trial to see how much demand there will be for us to continue to do this for the other tri-nations games played in either NZ or Australia. (Obviously games played in S. Africa don't get affected by the huge time difference.) We feel we are excellently equipped to show live sports here at Paddy's, with a great view from every seat to one of the 5 flat screens or the beamer, plus 3 different satellites and a top sound system.
If you are interested please spread the word around to friends and foes alike, as the more who come to the 1st game on the 5th, the higher the chances are that we'll continue to do so for the rest of the tournament.
Kitchen will be open at 12.00 on this date (Obvoiusly earlier food options would be involved in the future once we know if it'll be a definate fixture on our programme)
If possible, could people reply to say if they are coming or not, would help us greatly in gaging numbers as I'm setting out to start purely with 1 capable bartender to cover the first event. If suitable demand is there, then I can be ready to add another. ((((HELP HELP, MODS, HOW DO I ADD ONE OF THOSE CLEVER LITTLE ... I'M DEFINATELY COMING, I'M NOT, I MAY COME... THINGS ? ))))
Regards, and good luck for the tournament

- I live in SA at the moment and am moving to CH next year. Was researching places and or TV channels where I could watch rugby and other sports at when we move to CH. AM happy to see an attempt like yours. I hope it is successful so that it is still up ...
