Last train, Terry? | | | | | In that case, especially for you, JW will be the draught ale. For those who think Kentish is just a misspelling for simply unacceptable behaviour, there will be 3K Best Bitter, Dark Peter London Porter, and a tasty but still experimental Mild so new it hasn't got a name, all in bottles.

Spiffing Ales is the baby of Swiss Bob. As well as the 30 odd EF'ers (or even 40 at this rate) that look like coming, I have about another 20 people and the Pie Shop will have their own guests so it looks like being a lively night. It doesn't look like Bob will be able to supply enough beer for the whole evening though so we may be bringing in a few barrels of Rappi Gold from the Rappi Bier Factory. There will also be wine and soft drinks of course......
And if you can't make it to the Pie Shop, don't forget we are hosting the Ultimate Ploughmans at the Rapperswil Brewery on the Saturday afternoon / early evening.

Just a reminder that this is happening this Thursday night and the weather forecast at the moment is good!
If you are a Maybe and know for sure if you are coming on not, would you mind changing your setting so we can try to gauge final numbers? If you're still a Maybe, no problem but hope you can make it.
The up-dated food selection is:
Mini Cornish & Veggie Pasties and some other mini pies that the 2 girls at the Pie Shop are working on as we speak (they will be making plenty). Chilled broccoli & Stilton soup and mini Welsh Rarebits (with plenty of real English mustard - finalised the recipes last night and they are really yummy) and plenty of real British Farmhouse cheese nibbles with oat cakes and other crackers, namely:
Colston Basset Blue Stilton
Montgomery's Mature Cheddar
Godminster Organic Waxed Cheddar
Woolsery Goat from Dorset,
Mature Hawes Wensleydale
Sparkenhoe Red Leicester
Blue Shropshire (new in and just fantastic)
Isle of Mull Cheddar
Cornish Yarg
Remember, your first drink (beer or wine) and all the above nibbles are included in the 15 Fr entry. There will be plenty of beer at the bar including Rappi Gold if Bob sells out. There will also be some cheese and pies on sale to take home as well.
See you all Thursday!

I treated my colleagues to some whiskey port and pies (from the pie shop) recently - the pies were seriously good.
Unfortunately I'm on my way to Corsica with two young ladies at that time so enjoy (the pies - not my absence)
