Hey Dave!
Fancy seeing you here. Would love to catch up.
Did I tell you that I went to Tuscany?

Were you there ? If you were, and did I don't remember, probably because I was too caught-up in Woodsie's pie-dacious tales of antipodean pastry-food. Clearly egged-on by Nic in an all-in-Australian-nostalgia-night.

Now we have got the in-jokes out of the way, I must say it was a jolly fine event. The 15chf entry charge was good value, and we all ate our fill of magnificent cheeses, and mini-sampler pies and pasties. The more gluttenous oriented among us such as Cat-the-unforgiving and Heather-the-net-keeper also went for the family-sized pies at 12chf each. I thought that a bit steep for a smallish pie (about 12cm across at a guess) but it was jolly tasty.
A good value event, well-organised, and a good example of exploitation of the synergous strategic partnerships.....back to the Porter text-books for me...

Sorry I didn't get time for any sort of a chat - too busy pulling pints (or the metricated stupidity that is IKEA glasses).
For the record you drank us out of the 3K bitter, the Mild, and the Porter. it was touch and go on the Jenny's Wren .
Thanks to Mike for organising - must do something like it again soon.

Had a nice time at the pie shop - unfortunately had had some beer at a work apero beforehand and since I am such a cheap date the 5 or so beers I had at the pie shop were enough to cloud my memory. I do remember:
- Grumpy and Astrid serving up some amazing cheese
- Rappi Gold
- Meeting Swisscath - my favorite joke poster and easy on the eyes as well
- More Rappi Gold
- Sutter looking great - her daughter is quite adorable and funny
- Another Rappi
- Lynn putting her foot in her mouth - no worries
- DaveA wearing capris with some kinda gum in his hair
- More Rappi
- Some lovely ladies Dom introduced me to D & G - unfortunately not on the EF
- Holding Lynn's dog
- More Rappi
- Tash taking some pictures of everyone on the lonely hearts stairs
- Mikey leaving without saying bye
- Feeling overly full from all the cheese and too tired to move to the next place
voila
