This Friday the official European St Patrick's Day celebrations are taking place at Münsterhof next to the Fraumunster. It all kicks off at 10:00 and goes on until 23:00. The reason for the plug here is that the Zurich Hurling team, Ineon, will have a stand at the event in a bid to recruit new members. They are the current European champions. You don't need to be Irish to join (half the team are Swiss or other nationalities), just be willing to train with the team, have fun and if you are picked to play for the team travel round Europe going to tournements. Drop by from 12:00 to say hello to the guys and find out more if you are interested.

The team has a compulsory helmet wearing rule so teeth and heads are well protected to ensure no interference with the drinking after the tournements.
