Indie party in Zurich
Hiya.
A wee bit advertisement for myself ... hope that's fine ... I will be DJing at Big Ben on Saturday (27th January). It's going to be a mixture of Pub and Party with mainly british music (Maximo Park, The Fratellis, Babyshambles, Beatles, Kasabian, Jet, Stone Roses, Bloc Party ...). Maybe some of you fancy an eve like this ...

Ah! Hardbruecke BB, not Neiderdorf BB!

Will try to make it, but my Swiss-Indie crowd is somewhat smaller than my Sydney-Indie crowd. It may be tough to round up a gang.

I've been to a load of Polly's DJ nights around Zurich and they're always fantastic, especially if you like your music lairy!



BTW, She loves it when you ask for requests!!

A fellow Manc eh... welcome to the forum. Am newly arrived in Zurich from Manchester myself!

And yes can someone please post details of the next Indie night as starting to miss the Indie scene.... In desp need to dance around madly to Stone Roses etc...

Also, not quite in line with the thread as such, but am tad annoyed that now have left UK James have reformed... would have loved to have seen them live (I only ever managed to see Tim Booth after he left James and went solo)

They're only playing around 7 gigs so won't be holding my breath but if they do by some off chance decide to do a european leg please please please someone post a thread in BIG BOLD LETTERS and tell me!!

From a massive Tim Booth fan!!

The next indie night in Zurich is on 23rd February (Friday) at Abart (www.abart.ch). It's called britpack (british music only).

Not sure about the next night at Big Ben but really enjoyed last time...
