City/Town: Zurich
Event Type: Special Promotion
Location: The Pie Shop Rotbuchstrasse 1a 8006

I know this is on the same day as the Fish & Chip supper, but it was planned a while back (sorry Oldhand). Schaffhauserplatz is on the way so pop in for a Spiffing Ale on the way to get your appetite up!

As usual, we're serving great British cheese with pies, chutneys and strong pickled onions washed down with Spiffing Ales, real ale brewed in Switzerland.

We start at 1.00 pm this time but will keep the bar open until 10.00. The lunch / dinner will be served all day and cheese and pies can be bought to take home.

See you there!

PS - Pie Shop IV will be Saturday December 6th and we will be serving Stilton, Port and home made mince pies (really home made, both pastry and filling!). Just what you need to get you through Christmas Shopping

We will also be selling and taking orders for Christmas Gift packs of cheese and chutney's.

Have to see how much our sitter will want to babysit all afternoon and night, as it could get to expensive because we are going to the fish and chips night. Was a good laugh last time if anyone as not been already the food is really good

With Jack signing up, he has just reminded me that he will again be bringing over some of his hand made chocolates for a free tasting - they're delicious!

Not sure I have enough time to prepare the sauce this week, I do have a little left over from the last batch so I might be able to do a few, or I might give away a few small tubs for you to grill at home.

And I did forget about your Swiss cheese request, will have some Val Müstair, Andeerer and a very special aged Gruyere for you to take home

Mike, I'll be there sometime in the afternoon, if not to eat (doing that at Oldhand's fish-n-chips do!), but to pick up a mess of cheese to show off when I go visit my sister the following weekend

Thanks Mike... The assortment will include Earl Grey Pralines, Lemon Verbena and Ginger Milk Chocolates, Whisky Butter Truffles, Peanut Butter Cups, Piedmontese Gianduja, Lemon Cheesecake Pralines, Creamy Caramel-Filled Milk Chocolate Pralines, and finally Turkish Coffee and Cardamom Pralines.

Plenty of great British cheese...really nice pies...fine beer...and fresh chocolates - Wow!

Can't make it this time unfortunately, but make sure you get enough beers in for all the EF-ers!
