Digital Darkroom: Intro to Adobe Photoshop® / Photoshop® Elements®
Taking the photograph is just part of the process of creating a great image. While a film photographer manipulates negatives and light in the darkroom to create a beautiful print, the digital photographer’s darkroom is the image processing software on their computer. But where do you begin?
In this class you’ll get started with the basics of Photoshop/Photoshop Elements.
You will learn:
- Basic setup and workflow
- Photoshop tools and adjustments
- How to crop, rotate, resize and straighten images
- Adjustment layers for control of exposure, contrast and color
- Easy techniques for creative and black and white effects
Participants must have their own laptop and a copy of Adobe® Photoshop® or Adobe® Photoshop® Elements (or visit Adobe.com to download a free 30-day demo version).
