Moevenpick Wine in Kloten hold special evening wine tastings and promotions for other local businesses every 6 - 8 weeks but once a year they have a "Ladies Only" evening. For this one they will have a Champagne producer present to talk about his bubbly, a Cigar specialist (Swiss ladies smoke cigars?) and Stockli Sport & Ski and they have invited me to offer a tasting of some of my British Cheese.

Officially it ends at 9.00pm but they often go on until well after 10.00. Wine can of course be bought on the evening but there really is no pressure at all. I have done 2 events with Moevenpick and have been really impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff (most also speak very good English). On Saturday I was in Zug and they had about 50 bottles open, you just help yourself (although I guess at this one they will also have waiters keeping you topped up)
