Kevin Pollard, Founder of Babel Travel, has specifically designed these itineraries to cater for everyone’s needs and interests. Each itinerary is varied, and more importantly, is organised for you, taking the hassle out of planning a weekend yourself. Kevin guides these adventures himself. Whether it’s trekking through scenic mountain regions, exploring medieval cities or enjoying traditional Swiss cultural events, Babel Travel will show you a side of Switzerland you’ll never forget. Trips leave Basel early on Saturday morning, retuning on Sunday evening, this way keeping costs low. Trip prices range from 32 to 230 CHF and include return transport, accommodation, entry fees and special events.
The 16th Babel Travel trip of the year starts on August 29th. Its the Aletsch Glacier Hike & Cow Pat Golf trip.
Below is a short description;
The adventure sees us hike through the majestic Aletsch Glacier, which, at 23 kilometres long is the biggest and most powerful glacier in the Alps. We'll also experience one of the more unique Swiss sports - Cow Pat Golf! The aim of the game is simple; to give as many cow pats as possible a good thumping with a golf club style instrument. Fun!
The per person price is 190 CHF. This price covers transport, hostels/hotels, tour guide and all entry fees and activities.
