FRIBOURG POTTERY WORKSHOP WITH PETER FINK!!
In his Ependes-Fribourg workshop he creates pieces in ceramic intended for daily usage around the home. Temperate and clear forms are decorated with precious metals and then supported by colored calligraphy. Or you can choose from pieces that are lively in color or just dramatic black and white.
He is infamous for uniformly collaborating with various other artists, potters and designers. Some projects/designers are the Memphis-milano, Alfred Hofkunst, zap-design, Brigitte Steinemann, the ECAL, Bjørn Wiinblad among others.
Peter gives various specialized courses in Bern, Vevey and Zurich. Such as the School of Design in Zurich and the Higher Educational School of Fribourg.
For the month of November, Peter is going to conduct an English Pottery workshop for FEW Group Members in Fribourg. We will begin with an introductory night of different techniques eg: slab, moulding by hand, slip decoration, underglaze, overglaze and then to the wheel. We will then make our own homeware which will be fired by Peter and collected over a glass of wine two weeks after the completion of our course.
