Want to experience a Bayern Munich game in Munich’s famous Allianz Arena? On the weekend of March 27-28 2010, Babel Travel is offering a trip to see Bayern Munich versus one of their main rivals, VfB Stuttgart.

The price is 210 CHF per person and includes the following;

Return train from Basel (you’ll need a Swiss half fare card)
Dormitory accommodation (4 people per room) in Munich on Saturday night. Breakfast is included.
Ticket into the Allianz Arena to watch Bayern Munich vs VfB Stuttgart
Tour of Munich on Sunday (Marienplatz, English Garden etc)
Services of a tour leader

So, the idea would be to leave Basel Bad on the early train (6.38am, March 27) and arrive in Munich at 12.07pm. From the Munich HBHF, we’d take the train directly to the Allianz Arena for the big game against VfB Stuttgart. The games starts at 2.30pm and finishes at 5pm. After the game we’ll visit one of the most popular bars for the Bayern Munich football fans before heading to our hostel. As it’s Saturday night, we can check out the bars/clubs in Munich that night.

The next morning we’d look around Munich for 5 hours or so, checking out the main sights and catch the 3.51pm train back to Basel, arriving at 9.16pm, March 28.
