Emergency First Response (First aid)

I'm pleased to announce the dates for the 2006 Emergency First Response courses in English. In this course you will learn first aid techniques including CPR, secondary first aid (bandaging, illness assessments, etc) as well as providing oxygen and the use of the automated external defribulator (AED).

The course is internationally recognised and includes a certification photo card upon completion. Despite fullfilling all the requirements and much more, the course is yet to receive acreditation for the driver's licence test in Switzerland - however if you already have a driver's licence this is of little concern to you!

Course materials are high quality, the training philosophy is very much hands-on and practical based (scenario-based and fun).

Cost is 220 francs and includes course workbook, home study DVD, use of all equipment and a photo certification card.

Where? The classroom will be in Zurich Seefeld, exact details will be given to participants.

When?
Each course will be held over two consecutive (or almost consecutive) evenings from 18:30 to 22:30. Course dates are as follows:

Course 1: July 11,13 (Tuesday, Thursday)
Course 2: July 23 (Sunday - all day)
Course 3: August 28,29 (Monday, Tuesday)
Course 4: September 19,21 (Tuesday, Thursday)

Courses are LIMITED to 8 participants so book early to avoid disappointment.

There is also a home study component to this course, please register sufficently in advance so that you can complete this study requirement (approximately 2 hours).

Re: Emergency First Response (First aid)

Hello
In Switzerland this course does not. It did for a short period, but i think they have had problems keeping the authorisation.
there are english speaking courses around if needed.
