We're back at the Moevenpick Wine shop in Zug this coming Saturday from 11.00 - 17.00 for their first big free tasting of this year. Their theme for this day is "Trends & Traditions" and they will be showcasing wines from California, South America and Australia. They've sent me
this link to show the wines on offer, they usually have 40 or more bottles open, just turn up, grab a glass and help yourself! There's some big comfy sofas if it gets too much for you.
The wine shop is on the Baarerstrasse, behind the new glass office buildings on the way out of town. Plenty of on-street parking (free on Saturdays)
I'll have about 10 British farmhouse cheeses to taste for free including Somerset, Exmoor and Lanark Blues and Poacher Vintage and Double Barrel - all cheeses that will go down well with the wines.
We did about 7 of these last year and they were very popular. As usual, entry and tasting is completely free, although you can buy wine and cheese to take home if you are suitably impressed. If there is any cheese from my home page that you would particularly like to try, e-mail me and I'll try to bring some along.
See you there!
