I've recently changed my working rate from 100% to 60%, so now I have a lot of free time. I don't like being idle so I started cleaning houses and apartments in my area for Swiss residents. My mother tongue is English so I thought I'd offer my cleaning services to the expat community also, because not everyone can speak the local languages and it's always better for both parties when there's no loss in communication

.
I have my own car, and have travelled throughout Zürich with my own equipment. But I've found that this way you have higher costs so you have to subsequently charge the end client more. So apart from the usual method, I started offering a more basic service which is a lot cheaper. What this entails is me only bringing items that I can carry and using the public transport

. I bring cloths, dusters, sprays etc but no mops and buckets, vacuums, electrical equipment and use what is already in the clients home. I get a better idea of what I need to bring if I come by for the free quote.
I can offer an hourly rate based on the amount of time needed, but what I usually offer is a flat daily rate of between 180 and 200 Chf. Better said, the highest charge for one day is 200 Chf. This does not have a set down number of hours but it is at least 9 hours solid work and I've stayed over 11 hours before, slaving away until I'm happy

. My approval rate is always higher than the customer's so if I'm happy, you definitely will be. If you're not happy I won't charge you anything, I'll put it down to experience and write about you in the complaints section

. That was a joke but seriously you will be happy with my work.
I'm very meticulous, my speciality is cleaning cookers and going with a toothpick to get rid of all the built up gunk

. Hoovering, dusting, polishing, metal shining, mopping, scrubbing areas behind kitchen appliances, bathrooms, window cleaning, is all in a day's work. Ironing you should be doing yourself but I can also do that. Gardening, weeding, hedge trimming and cutting the grass is also available inside of the daily work. My motto is to clean Switzerland one wonig at a time.
My permanent profession is in IT networking so if you're having PC, Mac or UNIX issues, I can take a look also.
So if you're interested, send me a PM.
