BABYSITTING & FIRST AID FOR TEENAGERS

(in English)

Sunday, October 30, 2011 9.00-17.00 o'clock

This course is based on the BLAST programme of the American Academy of Pediatrics and includes an introduction to child development, child care techniques and major first aid techniques including CPR. Babysitting and first aid certification is mandatory for teenagers in the Swiss communities.

This hands-on course is for teenagers who speak sufficient English and want to be certified for babysitting in Switzerland or other countries. Practical and written assessments take place throughout the course and must be passed to be awarded the certificate.

Course fee: CHF 120

Just giving this another daytime bump, as someone was asking me about this a while back, and I can't remember who it was

I would encourage everybody to do a first aid course.

And if you've done one already a couple of years ago then do one again.

Includes CPR/AED and basic emergency care covering the most likely injuries in sports-related pursuits (bone & soft tissue injuries, head & spinal injuries, dislocations, soft tissue damage, etc.). Other topics will include anaphylactic reactions, hypothermia, taping & first aid kits.

Course fee: CHF 180 per person
Course location: Richterswil ZH
Course instructor: certified instructor and medical doctor.

FIRST AID FOR THE SWISS DRIVING LICENSE

Friday, April 13 (16.00 until 19.00 o'clock)
& Saturday, April 14, 2011 (8.00.00 until 16.00 o'clock)

(both sessions must be attended to be awarded the certificate)

Course location: Adliswil, ZH
Course fee: CHF 130 plus CHF 20 for the certificate

This First Aid course is mandatory for all first time drivers in Switzerland and those who cannot transfer their license from another country.

I had looked everywhere for english first aid courses - they dont run everyweek like in Oz....HealthyFirst very flexible and helpful
