Hey everybody

I'd like to introduce you to the Juice Bar 'hamabama'.
It's a great place for Smoothies and Juices, freshly pressed and prepared, without ice just with the pure healthy stuff (veggies and fruits).
It is kind of comparative to Boost Juice, Booster Juice, Jamba Juice, Jugo Juice etc etc like known and famous all over the world exept Switzerland.
They have two locations so far, BASEL and LUCERNE.

I have been to Hamabama in Basel 3 or 4 times, it is truly amazingly tasty! The secret is fresh ingredients...

My one complaint would be that the ice cream used for your smoothies is not the greatest.

Just some info on that: We don't use ice cream but probiotic 2% frozen yoghurt in some of the smoothies. And then we have Sorbets for another line of smoothies (Sorbet= Iice"cream" without the cream, a swiss or french thing?)
And for our chocolate smoothie we use Emmi Chocolate ice cream.

Never heard a comment about our yoghurt or ice cream yet but we do regulary try out different brands.

One more thing: You can leave some of the ingredients out (i.e. yoghurt/kiwi etc) or put other ingredients in a existing recipe; or create your own smoothie for the same price as any other drink, you just pay for the size.

I've had power juice there a several times. was good!
And recently I've seen they also have some Sushi to go.
Has anyone tried it? is it good?

Maybe pedantic, but juice is ONLY with the pure healthy stuff. You cannot sell something as "juice" that has anything added to it.

So you can't claim that your juice is more pure than what you buy in Migros. Fresher, yes, but not more pure or healthier

hehe you're so right caviarchips! Fresh is a better word. But unfortunately there are lot of packed drinks officially called Juice/Saft that have lots of other ingredients (sugar/water etc) (

You can now order your Smoothies or Juices online and get them by bike delivery right to your house or office!
