A friend of mine told me about a new great place in Lausanne - Kids Up (www.kidsup.ch)
Lots of activities for toddlers and kids.
And I heard they are to open a playgroup in English - follow it on their FB page to get all news

It seems to be quite a success, as some of the groups are already getting full
I called and the lady speaks good English, don't hesitate

Well, I gave it a try, went twice in fact, but didn't like Kidspace at all.
The first time, there was barely anyone and my daughter got bored. The second time, it was crowded and she asked me to leave after 15 mn :-/

But anyway, Kids Up and Kidspace don't propose the same thing at all. Kids Up is about education, lessons, parent-child link, whereas kidspace is a play room. But I will tell you more once it is opened.

I discussed with the lady, and they are working on opening a playgroup in English, organised by a lady who used to live in the US and was in charge of such a group there. I joined their FB page to be kept informed

I was interested in joining their Pilates class, but I don't know what do do with my baby while I'm there?!

From what I know, the Pilates class is organised so that your kid can attend circus classes at the same time / same location. But not for babies.

Nevertheless, they are working on opening a specific gym class for mothers with babies :-)

Looked at the website. Will definitely check it out. My 16 month old child has loads of energy and need to find as many activities for him as possible.

I did the Baby Gym class today and it was great. Lots of space for the babies and the instructor speaks English and French. If you are looking for a fun time with your baby that is the place!

we take our son regularly to babygym as well and he loves it.

You will also find;
- regular Baby-gym lessons from 2 yo,
- circus lessons from 3 yo and
- circus holiday camps - during holidays, from 8:30 to 5:30, starting in Feb, from 27 Feb to 3 March :-)

babygym does saturday morning from 9.30 for kids under 2yrs old

Yes we've been there and our son loves it. They sing and play basically

If you go a bit earlier your child can play around in the play area and get familiarized with the space.
