| | | NEW American Shop
I just want to start off this is NO MARKETING, NO ADVERSTISING…
I am starting off an American store. (NOT OPEN YET). I was tired of the huge prices of the store in Geneva and in Nyon. I thought it would be nice to have your ideas. As I said and will repeat again the store is not open yet, but thought it would be nice if I would let the englishforum community get a peak, and let me know maybe let me know what you think. Not all products have their description as it takes us sooooo much time to do(but will be done for opening day :-P). The prices are done but not shown until opening day, do to our big competitor. :-D but to give you a idea on a pancake mix we will be 42% cheaper, on a butterfinger 48% cheaper, BBQ sauce 42% and it is pretty much the same on all products.
The products that you miss back from home?
The products that you might want but that are not listed on the website?
What do you think of the look?
How about the numbers of product?
Please do feel free to give me your ideas I am really looking forward to your ideas and opinions.
The website is: http://all-usa.ch
The count down until opening: http://www.all-usa.eu/coming_soon/
I HAVE PUT THE LINKS SO YOU CAN SEE THE PRODUCTS... THE PRODUCTS ARE NOT BEING SOLD YET AND THE PRICE ARE NOT SHOWN, AND WONT BE UNTIL END OF JANURARY.....
Thank you to everyone that takes 2 seconds to go check it out, and maybe leave me a little comment.

Congrats and good luck to you! I do see that there is plenty of work to do.
My only suggestion, ask a Swiss lawyer specialized in online contracts to look over and correct the conditions. This is a cost that may save you lots in the future. Personally I have benefited from such a lawyer with an eagle eye.

Oooo weee!
Things that come to mind after reviewing (and thinking what we stow into our suitcases):
1- plain Cheerios (you have some flavored varieties)
2- other plainer cereals (Chex, Life)
3- maybe a baking section? Could include vanilla extract, baking soda/powder, chocolate chips, brown sugar, etc.
4- reese's mini cups (you have the normal sized) and peanut butter M&Ms.
5- grits (not instant - "quick cooking" is okay, but normal is best)

is it only online? gotta be honest if so i wouldn't be so bothered to order food and cleaning stuff online. if there is a store- please let it be in lausanne!
ditto on the reece's and brown sugar, of course-i'll add that you should seasonly have girl scout cookies, if you could possibly make that happen. nabisco choco wafers so i don't have to make em myself. cetafil soap, love that stuff. tom's of maine toothpaste so i don't have to carry 8 tubes from ny. arm and hammer baking soda cheap and big big for the fridge and stuff. dr. bonner's soaps- this is a real necessity . awesome that you carry proper chapstick and hall's.
edit--- i saw you have some things. but bread crumbs should be italian flavor, hehehe. also, sweets page 2 is messed up with the names not correct for the products. thanks for the pickles, awesome! also maybe some campbell's chunky soups my son will go crazy for that.

My wish list will come later this evening, when I have had time to marinate and think about what is truly important to me(such as the classic, brown sugar v. molasses v. cornsyrup debate).

Grand ma's Molasse is already ordered and should be here for opening day, we have a order on the way, but we do not have the products yet so they are not on the website. like we have many different hot sauces coming, coffee... Maxwell, Folger and so on. My objectif is to take all your ideas and make a express order by the end of the year to have them all for the opening. | Quote: | | | | | My wish list will come later this evening, when I have had time to marinate and think about what is truly important to me(such as the classic, brown sugar v. molasses v. cornsyrup debate). | | | | | | | The following 2 users would like to thank alexm16 for this useful post: | |

I like a seasoning that might be similar, which I get from Otto's, the brand name is Mara and is a seasoning for french fries that I also like to use in other potato dishes as well,,, tasty. It seems also to be without MSG or flavour enhancer as it says, which I appreciate.
They do a grill seasoning as well, also very tasty, maybe worth a look.
Not wishing to do you out of a sale alexm16, but sometimes one needs to have an alternative if the real thing isn't immediately available, good luck with your venture.
