Lots of women who've got skimpy eyelashes, brows, etc, or women who've lost their eyelashes/brows due to chemo or hormonal changes (and for whom the hair hasn't returned) do use these treatments.

Three D tattoos are one solution for nipples on reconstructed breasts (after removal for cancer) And I've seen some amazing tattoos on burn victims to restore skin tone.

If these treatments make people feel better, why not?
Yes, obviously, cosmetic surgery for burn and cancer victims would not really be what my post was aimed at. Did you really think it was?

Re: Would you like to have beautiful permanent makeup?

I prefer the eyelids without makeup and the asymmetrical lip looks way more natural as well.

What are your beauty qualifications? I thought you were a masseuse?

physiotherapist, massage therapist and yes, I've done beauty course plus trainings in Thalgo and Dermalogica but it is irrelevant. I am not doing permanent makeup. I invited someone who does.

My friend is doing a lot of cosmetic makeup for burn and cancer victims. This is why it is called medical pigmentation.

[mod note - the text below is a quote from an old thread by OP]

Wanted - Room in Zurich or Luzern for Massage Practicioner
I am looking for 1 room to rent in Zurich or Luzern in the offices/shops area. Possibly with shower and kitchenette but it's not a must.

This is for my own therapy practice - Sports Massage and Sports therapy with some beauty treatments (waxing, manicures) in the future.

I'm not sure what your point is.

That's a three year old ad, and in any case has absolutely no relevance to anything here and contradicts nothing here.

Oh look. Another three your old ad. Is this sour grapes about your own business not going so well?

Pilates in Zürich.

Re: Would you like to have beautiful permanent makeup?

You know, if you do assymetric permanent eyebrows, you can end looking puzzled for quite a long time.

By the way, is permanent makeup truly permanent, or does it wear out?

It's not really permanent as they (should) tattoo the skin lightly and on the surface. Not like body tattoos where they go quite deep into the skin.

This is so that it looks more natural but it also means that it wears off was your skin rejuvenates.

The more I read this damn thread, the more I want to do my eyebrows..... grr!

So eyebrows tend to go through fashion trends, right? At one point, thin is in, and some other times, a fuller eyebrow may be more desirable. So how long does it last?

Can I get a unibrow?

LOL! Don't get a unibrow. It wouldn't suit you.

I don't know about trends. I just have sparse eyebrows so I'd like to fill them in the very normal shape they are.

Oh, you need to redo them but it lasts years. Probably +/-4 years? IiZ could answer more thoroughly.

I have a friend who has very light eyebrows and I think she needs to touch up more often rather than less often if you have darker eyebrows.

This is what happens when you have your eyebrows tattooed on by a tattoo artist instead of a permanent make-up specialist..
