I am a 37 years old professional nanny from Finland, seeking a new job in Switzerland. I am looking for a full time position but I could work also for two families who live near to each other. I have worked for 6 years in Switzerland, in Italy and in the UK working all the time as a Full time Live-in Nanny; when I still lived in Finland I used to work also in kindergartens and after-school activities instructing arts and crafts for children. I have childminder qualification.
I have experience of proxy parenting, taking care of newborns and premature baby twins, traveling with babies and older children (also long haul flights). Especially I like taking care of newborns, babies and toddlers. I am willing to do all nursery duties and some light housekeeping too. Taking care of children is my passion and I can honestly say I enjoy my job!
I would describe myself very patient, dynamic and responsible person. I usually get along with many kind of people (I have always lived with the families who I work for and I still keep on touch with all of them.) If there is something I cannot do yet I am willing to learn! I love traveling, reading, jogging, swimming and cross-country skiing, arts and crafts, baking and singing, just to mention some of my interests.
At the moment I am a stay at home-mum, my baby was born in April 2014 so I have very fresh experience taking care of a newborn! I am available to start working in the end of July/the beginning of August 2015 and I am very motivated. My partner and my son will move to Switzerland with me and my partner is going to take care of our son whilst I work. This means I can be very flexible and work basically anytime when the employer requires, also on weekends and some nights if needed. I am available to start working on very short notice and I can have temporary accommodation in Switzerland during the first months when searching for an apartment for my family.
Nationals from EU25-countries can enjoy full freedom of movement and are free to move to Switzerland to live and work. I just need to register with the Residents Registry Office at the cantonal migration office within 14 days of my arrival in Switzerland and apply for a residence permit if I want to stay for longer than 3 months.
My up-to-date CV, excellent references, valid criminal record check and contact information of my former employers are available immediately.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me by private message. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!
