Professional dog grooming in Canton Zurich

“Dog grooming should be a pleasure, but not a stress for the dog and owner”

I am Saule and I am professional groomer, breeder, dog handler and owner of show dogs (English cocker spaniel and Riesenschnauzer). Cynology has always been an essential part of my life. My mission is to make grooming, a stress-free experience for your Pet. Grooming is not just about styling but is a necessary procedure to guarantee the health and comfort of your pet. It doesn’t matter what breed and coat type your pet has. I can offer grooming following pure breed standards, everyday health care and pet home style following your own wishes.

The Grooming Paradies hundesalon has been created based on my philosophy that every contact with a dog needs to be built with professional skills, trust, love and understanding. I offer not just high grooming standard but also a pleasant time for your dog.

Saule, could you accomodate an owner who needs to be present or to assist in grooming?

(I'm asking for future reference, as the current Muttley Crew are DIY jobs. But back in the day this was a stumbling block to finding a suitable groomer for my much-missed Puddle, a poodle with 'ishoos'.)

Best of luck to you with your new venture!

Re: Professional dog grooming in Canton Zurich

Thank you for your wishes!

Yes, the owner can take part in grooming process, but by my experience- it is MUCH better for everybody when owner is not in the same room. It takes some time to built trust and confidence with some complicated or "damaged by other groomer" dogs, but things going easier when in the room just me and the dog. Dog feels better (not trying to "hide" in owners hands or "ask for the help-take me home-mama"). When mama is in the room, of course it is harder to make the dog trust you, harder to work when someone is looking to you, also often if owner is stressing more than a dog and dog feels it.

So, my recommendation would be not to do that if you want to have good results, but if the owner wants- I respect it. May I won't agree to do it again second time (if I see that it is the reason of stress), but if everything went well, then ok. Just why owner would need to stay again if everything went well

Best regards!
