Doesn't matter, the sticker still makes it go faster. You obviously know nothing about engineering, noob!

What about the exhaust?
The body kit?
The steering wheel?
The seat badges?
The plaque?
The suspension?
The brakes?
The gearbox programming?
And the H2 engine?

You are aware they are available from the factory as an option?

At least you have now seen one - and can tick it off in your Eye-Spy book.

Re: Sign Maker and Vehicle Graphics Specialist located in Knonau

In sign writing terms we are talking about very different levels of applications here.

1) When you buy thin vinyl stripes of the internet, they come quite thin (without any extra support on the top and bottom. Being on a tiny backing tape, this makes application very difficult. Most of the times if you look at the finished product from the side the line is not strait. (thin line will move easy) Thin line saves cost to the Ebay or similar seller as he can put more in the roll, adding more pressure on the user at home. Hence many time I'm called to apply online purchased stuff. I have different terms an conditions about that, but that is a talk about other time.

When I apply thin lines - On the cutting - I leave quite a lot of extra vinyl - above and bellow the lines. This ensures quick and strait application)- This helps us to have super strait line.

Labor comparison example: To compare installation cost / hours (vinyl stripes cost not included)

I will charge half and hour (Fr.50.- + the vinyl cost) for 2 racing stripes (bonnet only) on a Mini or similar size car.
adding the roof will add another (Fr.30- + the vinyl cost)
As soon we get into bumbers and car trimmings etc, this become much more complicated time wise / cost wise.
As car shape is 3D, some more 3D than others, as you apply vinyl will follow the car surface and not the middle of the car, hence vinyl needs to be heated, stretched and this is where the problem starts. When heated vinyl will stretch and the racing stripe is no longer a strait racing stripe.
This is where the sign writer uses his magic to make things right.

P.S. Looks like the "Wink Smile" doesn't work properly.

The stripes come in panel sections for the Alpina - with excess either end. The 4 lines are applied as 1 - and following the guide for placement is entertaining (Alpina states it has to Xmm below the body crease and the rear diagonals Xmm from the rear lights. All very German. The front spoiler was probably the hardest part due to the surface changes and also the direction change of the vinyl).

The larger stuff, as you say, is a pain in the backside - that SEAT bumper for example. It is one of those jobs where practice makes perfect - and I have no desire to keep practicing!

When I did my own racecar I had the materials supplied by Absolute Grafix - and I put a 1/2 width, pinstripe edged stripe across the whole car - which was made more challenging by the fact the boot and bonnet were white plastic and the car was black - meaning black "stripes" to edge the bonnet - and a white stripe over the roof.

I don't have anything to push your way at the moment - unless I go full wrap on the racecar for 2017.

Just to compare, this is a before shot, notice the strips finish before the end, you can also see where they where falling apart, good ole US quality lol
This is where the previous installer failed big time.
I hope he / she changed trade, otherwise more business for me!

I know you find it hard to believe, but that is exactly how it left the ford dealership in the USA, don't know if the factory added them or it was a dealer option, but as it included the reversing camera and front grill I'd say factory.
