Come and celebrate the US Democratic Party’s confirmed nomination of Senator Barak Obama as the official Democratic Presidential 2008 Candidate!! In harmony with the Democratic National Convention, Democrats Abroad and Switzerland for Obama has come together to bring the celebration to Zurich!! ALL are welcome (so bring Swiss friends/colleagues and others from all over the globe who are living here in Zurich), so spread the word and join us for an evening of great food, beverages, and company!!!

We will be celebrating at The Pie Shop, which is a fantastic spot (as many of you know) that serves a variety of English pies, cornish pasties, apple pies, lemon cake, chocolate chip cookies and other desserts! They also have a lovely garden!

Entry fee is 25 CHF AND includes your first beverage and a tasting of various pies and pasties baked on the premises that will be served throughout the evening. The Pie Shop is just off Schaffhauserplatz, trams 7, 11, 14, 15 & 33 will drop you off near the door. It is a wonderful spot so please come and join us for a fun evening!

We will also have US voter registration and voter information for all US citizens who attend.

In addition "Switzerland for Obama" Shirts (30 CHF) and buttons (5 CHF) will be available!!!!
