Hi everybody,

I would like to inform you that I am giving First Aid courses both in German and English in Zurich-Altstetten.

By completing the course, you will receive the official Swiss First Aid certificate. This certificate is valid and necessary to obtain the Swiss driver license for all categories (A/A1/B etc.) but also for sailing certification etc.
It is also useful to freshen up your knowledge if you did not have a First Aid training course since five years and more.

Usually the English courses are attended by a small group of people from different countries around the world, which (IMHO) makes it more interesting.
The attendees usually enjoy the courses as we have an easygoing atmosphere and it is interesting not to only learn something about First Aid, but also to share some funny little anecdotes among the students.

The course is organized by the official guidelines of ASTRA (Swiss department of traffic) and includes a basic introduction of CPR and use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) device.
During the course, I also give a brief overview

• of the required steps to obtain a driver license in Switzerland

• on what possibilities you do have to learn for the theory exam

• on how to find a driving instructor near your home or work

• of some useful links on the Internet

Hi, please keep us informed fof the Nyon dates if you decide to have the course here. There is definitely interest here from some Geneva people.

The website you have posted doesn't seem to work. I would be extreamly interested in doing a CPR course in Zurich. Unfortunately this week end doesn't suit. What other dates are you running the course in June?

If Thalwil is nearer to you, you might want to consider the Samariterverein there who also do it in English.
