My niece is over here and was looking for a second hand laptop, but explicitly with an English OS/ keyboard.

Do you have a greater than 1.7GHZ pre-loved Centrino processor ( FSB 400 / 533 Dothan with 2MB L2 cache ) on its own for sale ?

replacement for which make and model machine?

Replacement for a Centrino Model lappy ( NX500X ) currently with a 1.67GHZ 2MB CPU 855GME chipset - lappy is not with me, but another person has upgraded it to 2GHZ with no issues.

Sorry, newer AMD's, not Intel's. (doesn't say much for AMD based machines)

Got a P4 1.8, but it's a desktop version.. any good with a solder iron and some bios tweaks?
