It is well worth popping into. The Cottage Delight products I have not seen anywhere else in Switzerland & the ones I bought were delicious.

Do you have any mushy peas to go with the Pies? I am starting to run out.
Will be down like a shot if the answer is yes.

Crumpets? Somebody mentioned crumpets?

Are they normally in stock, or special order?

A sweetie (you know who you are! ) gave me a jar of the Cheese Maker's Pickle and it's really delicious eaten with bread and soft cheese (or almost any other kind of cheese).

Hi all,

just arrived: Fresh Pies and Cornish Pasties. Have your pie with some great: "Old English Chutney with Cider", or your Colston Basset Stilton with the real "Cheesemakers Pickle".

Wish you all a great weekend.

Franky.

Re: Franky's cheese & more, Zug

I see from your posts that you had some pies and pasties delivered on certain days. Do you have pies/pasties every day or only on certain days?

Any plans to put some tables/benches and chairs there to eat your take out pie or pastie at? Might sway more of us to eat there for lunch. I work near Coop and live near Metalli. I eat lunch out every weekday in Zug.

Marie,
I'll have fresh pies and pasties every sat. And they last at least 7 days in the fridge, and I have until they're gone.
Unfortunately the shop is too small for any tables. But why not having the pie or the pasties by the lake?
Well, not today. Bit wet outside, innit?

Hope to see you here anyway. On Saturdays, i'll always have a bottle of white and red open, as I am a great believer in relaxed shopping.

Cheers,
Franky
