Here is something for the mythology buffs among you. It could also make a fine Christmas present.

The Walking Tree Publishers are about to launch a luxury edition of the 'Dragon Episode' from Beowulf. The book presents the Old English (Anglo Saxon) text and Modern English translation side by side. It is illustratied by Anke Eissmann and an introduction is written by Prof. Tom Shippey.



The book has 84 pages and will be produced with a quality hard-back binding. Only 500 copies are being produced so if you're interested let me know (contact me by private message or using the contact form on the website).

The Walking Tree Publishers are a volunteer run organisation (I'm one of them), with all profits being ploughed back into the operation.

I have received the first copies and the printer did a very good job, finishing them to a high standard.
