8,400 DVDs for rent (some for sale) - latest titles only available here (same as U.S.). 60 per cent Code l (REGION 1), 40 per cent Region 2, Europe.
We also carry a wide selection of classics, TV series, and many more. Orders accepted every day, quick delivery for pickup or by post. We also have some Blu Ray for rent.
Some U.S. food, english books, ice cream.

postage is only l.30 plus l.- box. you need to come in to sign up.
have 8000 titles for weekly rentals however the new ones are daily or
2 days during the week.
making a website now, in the works, will let you know.

yes, Swiss-German DVDs are switchable to English, as you point out. however, this is only possible if the movie is produced in English. the Germans take months to put American films on DVD in German for their market. my shop has everything the US shops have for rent, some much sooner than even in the US, and certainly much sooner than the Swiss-German shops. (there are, of course, a few exceptions to the general rule.)

hi there
to a point if the film was originally in english. the reason for the heading is that we separate ourselves from other shops in that we have no Deutsch
and stock many films but they have to be in english or have english subtitles.
i invite you to check our shop out if you have interest in seeing items that are in many cases not for rent elsewhere (excluding shops that sell).

Just out of interest, but I recall a few years ago there were moves to stop the importation of Zone 1 DVDs (so-called grey market), mainly because the French speaking Swiss were importing them from Canada, and it competed unfairly with European DVDs... I guess it didn't go through?

Other stores also may have some Code 1 DVDs, but our selection is definitely the biggest.
