I hate to break it to you butI kinda lost compassion for the forum. When I first joined its seemed fun and upbeat and like this was the sort of thing that would go over well. But first came all the negative nancies denouncing the idea of a calendar, then came my realization that not all of EF was what I thought it was. A lot of lost bitter souls trying to prove themselves on EF without realizing the irony and obsurdity (not to mention futility) of sucha venture.
Suddenly devoting time and effort for this sort of audience has become a lot less appealing to me. I may still want to get in touch with the photographer and some of the models that offered to pose for the calendar in order to put together something, but it will not longer be EF specific, and will not really have anything to do with it, in the end.

yes there is a lot of those people. I don't hate it (if that s what you're implying), But my feelings toward it have changed significantly over the past 2 months. I have to draw on advice I got in a PM from arguable the most popular EFer: don't write anything serious on the forum, just drop lines of nonsence here and there. I must say it defeats what I orignally thought was the purpose of the forum, but if you view it as nothing more than a time waster then you've already won.

Ok a few questions. Since the original calendar was apparently printed, what happened to the leftover copies? Can we see the images?

To the OP. In a forum where members dont show their pics as avatars i doubt if they would pose for a calendar for fun. If there was a noble cause behind it then yes otherwise....

guess it depends what your expectations are... think of the words "internet" and "anonymous forum"... then re-evaluate

and don't publicise PMs, is going to increase your smarties count

nope, serious... It won't get you banned or anything, but it won't make you very popular referring to a PM in the way that you did, especially given the context in which you put it on your post (ie, to support your argument, "allegedly" saying that this forum is just a free-for-all with humorous remarks). Plus, the sender may recognize it (or other EF may as well) and he/she may not be too happy about his/her opinions being made public, especially since they were given as a PRIVATE message
