Sorry Janite, for the VERY late response. Yes, we do whitening, though it is not my focus, and yes we can recommend for your son's retainers.

After living in the US for many years, and getting used to the awesome standards there for Dental practices, it was hard finding or trusting a 'good' dentist here in Europa. I was even willing to travel back to San Diego to my old dentist, whom I had faith in.
Well, I have finally found an awesome dentist here in Zürich, www.healthysmile.ch . The surgery was very modern and clean. The staff friendly and professional. It is a very comfortable experience and the work I had done was painless, relaxing, thorough and surprisingly inexpensive.
No need to fly back for a clean to San Dog, rest assured, this practice is excellent.

Yes, we do provide whitening, although I am more on the conservative side. My first priority is your health. Often, after the cleaning, and the removal of tarter and stain, a bleaching is not at all needed. However, if you still desire lighter teeth, we can provide that service.

Hey, have a look at this guy's teeth. He smoked non-filtered cigarettes. This is the result of the first one hour session. He came for a second treatment, and it was amazing...

Another rave for Susan. My teeth needed some major TLC and I have a "United Nations" tooth (patchwork emergency fillings from three continents) which will need a few visits to get fixed. My teeth look and feel great today and we have a plan for how to fix my special tooth. I actually had fun at the dentist!

Also, most importantly for Americans: I did not get Switzerlanded with the bill: YMMV, but I paid the same price I would have paid for the same treatment at my home dentist in New Orleans.

So SORRY for the late response...

The practice is a four minute walk from Tram 5 end station or Tram 13 LAUBEGG stop and a one minute walk from S10 Binz train station. VERY easy. or Park directly in front of practice, up against the window..FREE.

Independent Hygienists are not required to use the TPW and I prefer to use pauschal prices as I am a sort of "full service" type of professional and do not like the idea of 5 minute intervals (Swiss system for DHs)

Basically,
Children 50-80
Teens-young adults 120
Adults 140-160

However, the dentists I here use between 3.10 and 3.80. Mostly, 3.50
