After months of behind the scenes work we officially launched 1st April. Firstly I would like to say thanks for all the information and advice gained via EF members.
So what does Basel Running Tours do then? Well as it says on the tin, we offer guided tours of Basel, whilst running. We've designed a number of accompanied Running Tours and will take guests around the city, explaining the landmarks, the history and things to do.
We offer private tours and are launching our first group tour, in conjunction with Bergli Books, on the 8th May (I'll also put this in the commercial events section I guess but see this link for more details: http://www.baselrunningtours.com/new---bergli-run-8th-may.php).
How can you help (if you are so inclined..)? Well any of these would be great: a) Come on a tour - The 8th should be great fun or try a private tour b) Spread the word. Pass on to friends/family who are interested in jogging/culture/an innovative way of exploring Basel c) Join our fan page on Facebook. We hit 100 fans in our first month and its fast becoming a very efficient way for us to stay in touch/post special offers/give away merchandise etc etc. Search Basel Running Tours or follow this link: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Bas...9607535?ref=ts d) Give us feedback. We are a young company and learning fast. Always interested in hearing what people think.
Thanks thanks thanks. Look forward to hearing from you
Re: Get a job? Here's one I made earlier.... Basel Running Tours
I appreciate that you want to keep you new venture visible, but repeated posting is called bumping and is frowned upon by Mods and Members alike. Îf we don't stop it, everyone would do it.
I wish you all the best though.

I'll cycle alongside you, pretending not to notice, pretending I can't speak English, pretending I'm not too tight to spend 25Fr and want a free guided tour.
I'll be the one looking nonchalant right before my front wheel falls into a tram track and I lay spread eagled in the middle of the road.
