Today John delivered my sofa to Lugano and he did a great job!
He did everything he promised and all on time.
I can recommend his services.
Thanks John!

Employed John to do a round trip Basel to Colmar and lug a load of furniture today.
Great service, on time, nice bloke.
He knows how to pack that van as well.
I can highly recommend him.

Last week John collected a shelf and kitchen island for me and paid the seller so I didn't even have to leave the house. When he arrived, we unloaded the goods and I reimbursed him the cost of goods plus his (reasonable) fee. I can't imagine how that could be improved upon.

We used John yesterday for moving flats and we can highly recommend him He was very hard working, a good laugh and made what can be such a tedious day alot easier.
Yes, his van is old but perfect for moving stuff. He had a duvet and a carpet on the floor of the van to protect furniture which was perfect.
Thanks John!

John helped me move to a new apartment within Luzern and I can honestly give the strongest recommendation! He was punctual and worked until late in the evening carrying and loading all the furniture along with my brother. He helped take it apart and put it back together. He was professional and friendly even carrying some of the horribly uncomfortable heavy stuff that I have! I could only move late in the evening on a Friday night so I couldn't find a company that would agree to work these hours and either way John's price is obviously way better Would definitely use again for any moving/transport needs.

John has hauled off the remains of a large, disassembled wooden shipping crate, and picked up the wife and me at Ikea Rothenburg (along with a modest load of purchases), and carried most of it up two flights of stairs by himself, all for very reasonable fees.

Johnny more than helped me on Monday in IKEA the man was an asset to my house move!
A friend of mine on EF suggested him and I do not regret my decision at all. He was extremely helpful, friendly and he kept his word on price, etc. All in all I am very happy with his service and will be using him again whenever I get the chance! Fantastic service!

I used John in April and although he was efficient etc, he wasn't reliable on the price. The quote was 90 chf per hour for two men but his van broke down on route to me so after hiring another van he expected me to contribute to the additional cost.
What I expected to be 5 or 6 hours work at 90 chf/hr turned out at a bill of 600 chf.
So I would say he's ok to use but be careful if the van breaks down. | Quote: | | | | | Johnny more than helped me on Monday in IKEA the man was an asset to my house move!

Absolutely, fantastic service, I cannnot thank/recommend Johnny enough. I have used his services three times this year.
To move from Zurich to Zug and more recently to Transport my Yamaha Virago Motorcycle from the seller in St Gallen safe to me in Zug ( Awesomme!! Biker chicks rule!), where he handled the testing also received and signed for the invoice on my behalf.
Ever polite and cheerful and going above and beyond his fee for a damsel in distress, I cannot thank him enough.
Johnny, you are a star .

i looked back over the emails we sent and you are correct, 90chf was the price agreed ph for 2 men. that was my mistake and i apologise for that. you paid me 550chf for 6hrs work so if you private message me your bank details i will send you your 10chf back.

I could see why Mr John from Manc'land would be miffed if you actually charged him for the van rental on top of the labour, as it's not his fault your van broke down, but it seems you didn't actually charge him for it sooooo?
And as for a CHF 10 over-charge on a 6 hour job, maybe that would be lost in the actual time over estimated time, who knows, but surely not enough to warrant a "not reliable on the price" comment or a groan for someone who had a good experience
CHF 90 for 2 men and a van, is a damn good rate... providing it's all kosher.
