I must send a follow-up to my earlier post: having had my hair cut & coloured by Barry a few weeks ago, I was on a flight inbound to Switzerland last week, and a very glamorous woman sitting next to me asked where I had had my hair done as it looked so good....
first time ever that that's happened to me as far as I can recall!

Hair-cut review time!

I'm exceedingly happy with the haircut, even a few people at work have said it looks cool - that's never happened before

Barry asked me how I do my hair (a quick brush, then blow-dry by bicycle); listened to what I wanted, and then used that information to give me the haircut that suited me (and my head).

I don't like to gush about these sorts of things, but I really am impressed - Barry deserves every plaudit.

Often, after a trip to the hairdresser, you are unable to recreate the same look at home, but I am so pleased to say that with the great cut Barry gave, I have had no problem.

It was so great to be able to explain in English what I wanted and get some useful advice as to what would suit my hair. I am really looking forward to my next visit. Thanks a lot Barry!

I work in the theater basel so my hair are quite important for me!
now i'm leaving for my summer holidays but in august I will be back and for sure i will come to visit you!

I travelled over to Basel today from Zurich to have a cut and colour with Barry.

All I can say is that for the first time since I moved to Switzerland I have happy hair!

The colour is great, the cut is great and chatting to Barry whilst he works his magic is an exceptionally pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

I have already booked my follow up appointment and I can't wait.

Thank you Barry, I actually feel like a real human again with healthy shiny hair.

I'm also joining the fan club!!

I was not really keen on switching hairdresser, but realizing going back and forth to Sweden (which I done every 2nd month for a year now...) for a hair cut/color might not be so suistainable in the long run!!

So in great need of a hair cut and color (the greys start to show a bit too much..), I didn't look forward to explain what I needed in German... But luckily there is Barry in Basel!!

It is great when you don't have to explain too much what you want, when the hairdresser just get it what you want - and that Barry really does! I agree completely with all the previous posters!

Very thorough cut and exactly the color I wanted + a really good time! And he has a lot of fun products - that I look forward to try out!!!

I also agree with all the previous posts. Wanted my hair tidied up but was unsure wether to go shorter he persuaded me to give it a go and gave it a great cut which even looks the same(almost) when I do it myself for once :-)

I have to add my kudos to the list. I had my appointment with Barry last week.

I am very happy to report that I love it! We started with a short consult to understand what I was looking for and then he went to work. He used a lightener and two colors and I am really pleased with the results! My look is natural and full of texture. If you are blonde and looking for a good colorist I would really recommend him!

Regarding my cut, that also looks fabulous and frames my face just the way I wanted it.

I took the train to Basel and just grabbed the tram. His shop is quite central and easy to find. I will definitely be heading back and maybe next time bring a few girlfriends or my hubbie and make a day of it.

Stop looking and come from afar - IMO Barry is KING.

I went to Barry for a hair cut and colour. Simply wonderful. I can not say if his hairdressing skills or his company is first or second. You simply can not go wrong - this man is a talent!!!!
