Folks in MediaMarkt Deitlikon now know me as the "dvd guy".

It could be worse, you could fall victim to the Swedish conspiracy. If you go to IKEA in a normal car there is a chance you might buy something - and not have the space in the car for it - and so take it back - and reduce you IKEA spend.

You can't do that with a VOLVO

Are you writing in english? If so, I must go back to the books cause I've read your post 5 times and still dont understand 25% of the words

To VI, I used to live 200m from there and sometimes, happy lunch time those months. The stuff they have in the Fungrube (little room outside) has some great deals. Sometimes the things has minimal scratches and they sell it like for 10% of actual value.... sometimes
Also, once we were in the restaurant and they were giving everybody a coupon worthed the total amount of your food consumption ie, your family spent 30chf in restaurant, ok, then is 30chf less you will pay on the furniture you buy.
I believe oct 11 - 13 IKEA is giving a coupon at the register of restaurant for what you spend there can be deducted from what you buy in the store. It has to be used the same day. I saw it in the front of the new catalog.
