Re: US / UK nicht!!!

Well it's obvious that Ice-hockey trumps all the other sports, that's a given.
(and North American hockey, not the football-style ice-hockey they play here :P)

what happens when they mix?

Nice hit Phaneuf

I meant the current form of fat tire mountain biking (specifically downhilling for the sake of achiveing an adrenalin high) another hippy sport.

I miss Peter the Great, who around an enitre defence he would skate, stick handle his way out of an overcrowded phone booth he would, then score amazing goals which no one could.

Bah---the Canadian mountains definitely beat those of the 11th province.

Southern Ontario get's some brutally hot weather as well. (as far south as parts of California).

Otherwise, Healthcare, Canadian bacon, Hockey, Maple syrup, Canadian Football, kicked your a$$ at war, Beavers , Gay Marriage, medicinal marijuana, better beer, drinking at 18/19...just to get things rolling :P

Tetons, Sierra Nevada, Denali

But its so damn humid, no thanks. I prefer the dry heat.

But I agree with everything else (maybe not the med. pot, see California)
But the Beavers for sure as I have trapped a few Canadian beavers. So soft and warm.........

I have to agree with this. What other sport makes fisticuffs a legitimate part of the sport's culture!

Hockey players are some of the toughest mofos I have ever run across.

I don't think the word 'arrogant' exists in Canadian English :P

But those brews definitely look might tasty--not the typical US-sex-in-a-canoe beer. Will have to give it a try !

Well I love the Unibroue brand (the only thing Quebec is good for other than hockey goalies ) and try to make my way to Belgium as much as possible for some good tasty beer, so I'll have to see how much Arrogance I can handle!
